For everyone who grew up on games — and never grew out of them.
We started Foundational Play because nothing else out there fit. The tracking apps were purely utilitarian, and most gaming shows were either documentaries about the past or fast-cut let's-plays. We wanted something that treats games with the same respect their creators put into making them — for players of every age and every kind of game.
That's two things: an app for keeping track of everything you play, and a show — podcast and newsletter — where we talk to the people making games today and the ones who started it all, dig into the business behind the industry, and look at what's actually happening behind the screen. New episodes monthly, a newsletter every two weeks.

The app works on iPhone, Android, tablets, and desktop, and stays in sync across all of them, so your library follows you everywhere. Track what you're considering and what you already own, rate and review what you finish, and see what the people you follow are playing.
It's free to use today, with a personalized news feed for every game in your library and recommendations for what to play next, pulled from your own taste rather than a generic top-ten list.
